What happens when an SSL certificate expires?
Browsers show a full-page "Your connection is not private" warning and block visitors from reaching you. Effectively your site is down until it is renewed. VigilDog warns you about 14 days ahead and escalates at 6 days.
How is this different from uptime monitoring?
Uptime tools tell you the site is already down. VigilDog tells you before it goes down. They answer different questions and most teams want both, but only one of them prevents the outage.
Do you monitor SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
Yes, all three, continuously, on every paid plan. We check that the records exist, that they parse, that SPF is inside its lookup limit, and that your DMARC policy is actually being enforced.
Can I white-label reports for clients?

What if you cannot complete a check?
We tell you we could not check, and we never turn an ambiguous result into a false failure. A wrong "your certificate is broken" shown to your client is worse than no alert at all, so "could not check" is its own neutral state.
